Ep #1: Nick Musica, SEO Expert to Animal Psychic Communicator

Nick and I met back in 2015 when I took a new job with a content startup in Encinitas, CA. We bonded over the cushy corporate culture of Whole Foods catered lunches, bi-weekly massages and an office one block from Moonlight Beach with surfing classes at lunch. We definitely knew this was a unique organization to work for and were grateful for the perks and wonderful colleagues.

However, sometimes even with the bougiest environments don't speak to our hearts.

Nick Musica shares his journey leaving corporate work to run his own SEO agency. With over a decade of experience in this realm, he recently discovered a newfound passion for animal communication. What makes Nick's story so interesting is his ability to maintain his successful consultancy in SEO while exploring this new interest on the side. I really value continuous learning and always draw insights from my guests, so here are some practical insights that I took away from Nick’s experience that might inspire you if you're navigating a career transition or exploring new paths.

Nick & Chucky

1. Balancing passions with work

Nick’s got the best of both worlds—he’s rocking his SEO gig and exploring his newfound love for animal communication. It shows you don’t have to ditch your day job that pays the bills to chase a dream. It’s all about finding that sweet spot where work and passion can coexist.

2. Trust your gut

When Nick first heard he could chat with animals, he was like, “Uh, really?” But he trusted that feeling in his gut and decided to give it a shot. Sometimes, following those quirky hunches leads to awesome discoveries about yourself.

3. Keep learning

Nick didn’t just sit back after hearing he could talk to animals. He dove into books, got tips from pros, and is still learning the ropes. It’s a reminder that learning something new keeps life interesting and opens up unexpected opportunities.

4. Face your fears

Switching careers or trying something totally different can be scary. Nick’s journey shows that taking small steps and getting support from others can help you push past those doubts. It’s about taking a leap, even if you’re not sure where you’ll land.

5. Enjoy the ride

Nick’s story reminds us that life’s about the journey, not just the destination. Embrace the twists and turns—they might lead to something amazing. Stay curious, stay flexible, and see where your passions take you.

Nick Musica’s journey in balancing both SEO consulting and animal communication is a testament to following your interests and staying open to new possibilities. Learn from his example—blend your passions with your career, trust your instincts, and enjoy the adventure of discovering what truly lights you up. Start today by exploring what excites you and taking small steps toward making it a part of your life.

I'm also now very curious about what my dog has to say about me...
