I started career coaching after getting laid off from a job I thought defined me. I’d poured years into that role, and when it ended, I felt totally lost, like I didn’t know who I was without it. My identity was so wrapped up in my title that I didn’t know how to move forward.

But piece by piece, I started untangling my self-worth from my job. I took small steps, flipping furniture, to small-scale consulting, to talking to others who had made big changes, and eventually launching The Career Flipper Podcast. That process made me realize: we’re allowed to change. And we’re allowed to not have it all figured out.

Now, I help others do the same, especially the ones who feel stuck, unsure, or scared to start over.
